I finally got my brand spanking new Nikon D750! Unfortunately I haven’t had but maybe 10 min to use it and that included maybe 5 shots that I took and the pictures were horrible and out of focus but I knew i wanted to show a comparison of the same photo taken with the old and new camera for todays photo.
I had a busy day to include shopping, babysitting, gymnastics, and everything household to take care of so I was kind of bummed I didn’t get to play with it too much but there is another day tomorrow! I was however blown away by just the few shots I did take. I didn’t even know how to adjust my settings I just wanted to use it to see how it felt. Basically I had to prove to myself I needed to make this investment and it was the right thing to do. I have never been so excited. Not even when I bought my Honda Odyssey was I so happy. I literally jumped in my house after the ups guy left haha!
Settings were: Rebel- iso 3200, f4.0, 1/100 D750- iso 4000, f1.8, 1/250
Like I said i just wanted to use the dang thing so I didn’t really care about settings. My exposure is even a little to bright on Nikon but I didn’t touch that in lightroom. i did crop is down a tad to show a better photo. I did, however, have to bump my exposure in lightroom for the Rebel though.
It’s a crazy difference and I can’t wait to use it everyday!!!!
Congrats!!! So exciting!!

Thanks! Im in LOVE! haha. Serious I dont agree with everyone who says to always upgrade your glass. Its important but I think having a professional camera counts for what I want to use it for. Best decision I made this year!

What made you jump the fence and go from canon to nikon?

Just a lot of research on the D750. The fact that if I bought a 5d3 a new 5d4 would probably come out but Nikon is just on top of things. Also the major reason was a you tube video that did pictures side by side but he didn’t say what photo was taken by what camera. He just said to choose the photo you like best and every photo I choose came from Nikon. So far I am loving it over Canon!!!!
